When we stop the war inside of us, it will stop outside of us. If we harbor any ill feelings towards anyone, it is our own resentment we are experiencing. Everything in the world is just a mirror reflecting back who we are. It is unfathomable that we can think that there can be any joy in causing pain to anyone, regardless of what terror they have caused. It does not matter what they did. State of being is what matters, not the circumstances.

Adding fire to fire just burns down the whole building. We must put out the fire with water, and that water is peace and love. We live on a planet of water to remind us of that. To turn it around we need to look deep inside and let go of all the hurts and injustices that we believe have been done to us and just simply let them go and choose to love. This may seem impossible, but it is simply a choice, and it is the only choice that will produce the peace we seek. Seeking justice does not produce peace. Seeking peace produces peace.

Forgiveness is actually acceptance. Redefine forgiveness as “for-giving-up.” The old definition of forgiveness implies there was a wrong. It is impossible to think you were wronged and then let it go. It is still held inside of you as a wrong. To “give it up” you must redefine it as something that happened without any judgment of right or wrong. Neutralize the supposed wrongs done to you by defining them as cries for love. All wrongs are always a lack of love.

Forgiveness is the process of accepting “what is.” Forgiveness is not forgiveness if it does not completely neutralize the situation. If you still harbor any negative energy, or you still believe a “wrong” has occurred, you have not forgiven or given it up. To fully release negative energy, you must move into a place of acceptance about what occurred – where you understand that your experience of the event was determined by the way you choose to look at it. From a neutral position, you can then move into a place of gratitude for the experience to elevate your vibration, and see the gift of light and knowledge that you gave yourself through this experience.

Gratefulness is a high vibration that allows you to be free to choose and create anything you want. When you are thankful for your past and everything that occurred in it, you move into a state of excitement which allows you to move forward very rapidly. True forgiveness turns into gratefulness and makes whole what was a part.

Kirk

Dear Friends,

You’re invited to attend a transformational weekend of mind, body and soul. (see the attached flyer) This two-day event will be facilitated by me (Kirk Nielsen). I am the author of the Oneness of Us Trilogy: Who Am I? (Book 1), Relationships (Book 2), Wealth (Book 3), and the founder of Oneness of Us, a non-profit organization offering training programs and ongoing support for anyone desiring to live a loving, joyous, and abundant life driven by what excites them. www.OnenessOfUs.com

Some of the progressive concepts that will covered are:

• Your state of being, not your circumstances, creates your experience.

• Be happy and secure even when faced with devastating circumstances.

• Uncover beliefs that are the hidden cause of your problems.

• Dig yourself out of the impossible situations you’ve gotten yourself into.

• The role of the ego, the higher self, and All That Is.

• Physical reality is really energy generated from your consciousness.

• Anything you reject or resist will spring right back at you.

• Acceptance of all you are (including your shame) is the key to your future.

• Whatever you give out, you get back; it is all you, coming and going.

• You exist by changing. You are in a constant state of be-coming.

There will be plenty of opportunities for group participation, interactive processes, laughter and spiritual awakenings. You will be given the chance to take a close look at yourself to uncover and transform limiting beliefs that you may not be aware of, but are causing problematic circumstances in your life. You will go home with the tools necessary to continue the processes in your everyday life. You will be able to face life’s issues in new, fresh and productive ways that you did not know were possible.

In addition to the nourishment you will receive for your mind and spirit, your body will be treated to delicious gourmet foods from “Dinning Around the World” chef Thea Dixon. Healthy organic lunches on both Saturday and Sunday will be served along with a “Guided Culinary Tour through Your Senses” celebration dinner on Saturday night. Thea is brilliant, very advanced and been a student of higher conscious concepts for over twenty years.

Francine Weiss will deliver a presentation on “Achieving Health through Balance” on Saturday afternoon. Francine is an expert on wellness and identical hormone replacement therapies, both very relevant subjects and essential for whole body wellness.

As a bonus, you will receive 2 books: “Oneness of Us: Who Am I? (Book 1)” which provides a full explanation of the concepts that will be presented and a “Transformational Guide” which contains processes to help you apply the concepts in your everyday life.

This is an interactive weekend is designed to create lasting change. It is not set up for you to just passively listen, be entertained, and get motivated for a while and then go back to your life, facing the same issues in the same way you did before. This weekend is intended to be a beginning of a new way of approaching your life, where you are in control of what is happening, rather than being a victim of circumstance. Transitioning to living a consciously directed life, that is joyful and exciting, takes time and effort and is an ongoing process. Thea, Francine and I have devoted our lives to this purpose. We work on it everyday and want to join with other like-minded people like you who want to do the same. We want to build a community of continued support for people committed to living healthy, joy-filled, and passionate lives. This is an opportunity for you to take a look at yourself in ways you may not have ever imagined. We would be thrilled for you to join us on a compelling, loving, and heart-wrenching adventure of understanding your role in creating your world.

Oneness of Us: Who Am I? (Book 1) is about understanding your connection with everyone and everything. It is about who you really are and how you are the one who is creating what you experience. Every moment you create a new reality based on what you believe. This becomes your perspective and establishes who you are. You are in a continuous state of becoming. To have the kind of life you dream of, it is necessary to uncover the hidden and conflicting beliefs that are preventing it and transform them into empowering beliefs. Heal the wounded parts of yourself that you have rejected and labeled as unworthy, by transforming them into examples of love. Discharge all negative energy and neutralize what you resist and judge as bad, by redefining it as a valid choice that is just not your preference. Choose to live a joy filled loving life.

Move from perceiving the world as happening to you and outside of you, to inside of you and being created by you. Become clear that what you experience in your physical world are symbols of your beliefs; and will change when you change your beliefs. What you really have and can never lose, is your existence as an aspect of All That Is and the choice of who you are which is realized by what you put out; everything else can, and will change. Focus on your state of being, while you are doing what you are doing; it is what lasts forever. Live your life purpose by following your passion and doing what excites you; it is the way to be the most fully expressed version of yourself. Let go of believing that you are separate, weak, and lacking and believe that you are whole, empowered, and fulfilled.

This book is about: you loving yourself so much that light and joy just spill over onto everyone you meet; jumping out of bed every morning because you are so excited to start your day; looking at a leaf with such awe it makes tears come to your eyes; being so completely comfortable and unashamed of yourself and your life that you wouldn’t hesitate to discuss any part of it with anyone; being able to lose what your most valued worldly possession and still being completely thankful and optimistic about what will happen next; raising your flag up high and exclaiming, “This is who I am, this is what I stand for, I am proud of it, I am giving my all to live it at every moment and allow everyone else to do the same.”

Some questions answered in Oneness of Us: Who Am I? (Book 1) are:

  1. What is my purpose? Why am I here? What is the ideal path for me to take?
  2. Who am I?
  3. How can I be truly authentic and proud of myself, and quit covering up and compensating for the parts of me that I am ashamed of?
  4. How can I move from fearing that I am going to lose everything, to having everything I need; being abundant, loved, fulfilled, and supported?
  5. Everything seems to happen to me; how is it possible that I create my own reality?
  6. How can I change circumstances that are out of my control? How do I get control and stop being a victim of my circumstances?
  7. How can I be happy when my world and everything I thought was secure is collapsing around me?
  8. Why don’t I get what I ask for? Why doesn’t my life work the way I want it to? Why does it have to be so hard?

Who Am I? You are The One experiencing itself as an aspect of All That Is.

All That Is is consciousness expressed as energy vibrating at different frequencies. Different frequencies create different realities, dimensions and universes as you know them, and everything you can imagine, and beyond. You are consciousness expressing itself as energetic frequencies which create your reality. You can choose to experience yourself as in those realities, or as the reality itself.

There is only one moment, but you can break that moment up and experience it as a series of moments, and call it time. There is only one place, but you can break it up and experience it as endless space, and call it the physical universe in which you live. You decide. You are the one making it all up and choosing the point of view you take.

You have chosen to experience yourself as separate in a limited physical reality, but you are actually not separate from anything, you are just limiting yourself by focusing through the idea of a physical body. It is just the perspective you are presently choosing. You are All That Is choosing to experience itself as a separate aspect of itself. This is just one expression of yourself. You and all the other aspects of All That Is are in the never-ending process of expressing yourselves in every possible way you can imagine.

You experience what you choose to believe you experience. Whatever you project out, you get back because it is all you that is coming and going. You are constantly changing, because in order to exist you must constantly be-coming aware of yourself. You are amazing beyond your wildest dreams.

The most important thing you can do is be present. Focus on it, love it, be it. It is the message you came to learn and give. When you are in the moment you are being your most natural self. You are being a renaissance man. Being present is accepting the present. It is accepting what is. It is surrendering to being who you truly are, which is your authentic self; an aspect of All That Is.

You have gone off in your ego and gotten lost in your fear, but you are still being you. You can never not be you. You can never get away from yourself. The question is, who do you want to be? Do you want to believe you are cut off and alone with no one to help you but yourself, or do you want to believe you create your own reality and choose what you experience? You can be awake and understand what is happening and how things really are, or you can be asleep and a victim to circumstance. You can choose love or fear; to be a victim or empowered. It is up to you. It is your world. It is your reality. It is created by your choice.

There is no line that divides your spiritual self and physical self except for the one that you make up. The line that seems to divide you is made by what you focus on. You create a more defined physical line by having a more defined physical focus. The physical reality you are experiencing is created by your concentrated focus. It is true that your mind and body are focusing mechanisms but they are controlled by you, and it is you that chooses what to look at and how long and intensely you focus on it. It is you who is doing the focusing. You are doing the choosing. No one else but you is making you focus on anything and what you focus on is what you experience.

If you want to loosen up the intense grip this physical world has on you, loosen up your focus on the physical world. To be present and in the moment means that you have taken a step back across the solidified physical line and are awake to how things are happening, and are looking at things from a different less dense perspective.

Your physical mind and body or ego is just a focusing mechanism. It was just meant to be like a pair a glasses for you to look through, so you could have a physical experience. It was never supposed to do the looking, that is your job. Your ego is not much more than small speck of all the you are. It is just a scared little piece of you. It is not good at making decisions because it was not designed to do it. The reason it is so frightened is that it feels so small and has to carry such a huge weight. It has an extremely limited perspective. It is scared and lost, and it knows it, and it is doing everything it can to survive. Who can blame it? You throw a scared animal into a corner and it will do everything it can to survive at all costs in the best way it knows how.

The ego does not know who it is. It does not know it is just a perspective. It does not know how to be present. It does not know it has everything it needs when it needs it. The reason you don’t think you have what ever you need is because you don’t believe you are an aspect of All That Is. You don’t believe you can become any other aspect just by taking a different perspective. You don’t believe you are the One being an aspect of itself.

When you know that you are an aspect of All That Is, then you know who you are, you know you can take any perspective in order to have any experience you choose. You know that you are all perspectives and that you are just choosing this particular one at this particular time, but that does not mean that you are not all the other perspectives as well at the same time. You are just choosing to focus on this one perspective. You know that you are, and can be, any aspect of All That Is that you choose, because the you that is doing the choosing is actually All That Is. You are All That Is!

Your present perspective is that you are so separated, asleep and shut down that you cannot possibly believe this. You have got yourself believing that you are this little, picked on, beat up ego, that at any moment is going to get blown away into nothingness. It is quite a perspective. It is absolutely intriguing. No wonder you did it. It is a fascinating experiment to be knocked out cold in the utter blackness that you are in, and then watch the breath of light, love and life fill your veins and bring you back to life and the knowledge of who you are. This is your world. This is what you are creating. This is your drama. It is an amazing show you are putting on.

It is quite a game you have made up for yourself. How is that working for you? Are you enjoying it? Do you like being in so much pain that you have to numb yourself with the addictions of incessant thinking, activity, TV, food, sex, alcohol, drugs and what ever else takes you away from be present and in the moment? For the most part, your co-stars are acting out their parts perfectly. Few are immune to this. It is the general physical condition, but it doesn’t have to be. You can change it. You can choose to take back your strength. You can choose to be whole and empowered. You do not have to spend your time covering up your pain any longer. You can be happy by just choosing to be happy.

While you are focused in physical reality through the ego, it makes sense to enjoy the adventure that you have set up for yourself. Yes, it is true that you have limits, but you choose them on purpose. You cannot have an experience without limits. Your ego is a limiting mechanism. You cannot have this experience without the ego. It is not a bad thing. It is necessary, but the point is, that you do not need to be soooo limited. You do not need to give your ego so much responsibility. It does not even know how to handle it. It was not designed to handle it. It has built itself up thinking it has to protect you, but the fear has gotten way out of hand and it is feeding itself more and more thoughts of fear.

Let go of your dense, dark, fear based perspective and back up a few steps towards the light. Take a new perspective. Lighten you load. Be light, happy, carefree and have fun like a child. Children love to play. It does not matter so much what they play, they just love playing. So make life a game that you love to play that does not matter so much. Quit hanging onto things so tightly and being so scared that you are going to loose everything. Let go of the perspective that you have to have things to be you. Focus on your state of being, rather than on getting and having.

Stop and think about this, the reason you want to get something is so that you can be a certain way, but what you are forgetting is that you can be that way without getting anything, because you already have everything. All you have to do is choose to be it; the getting, having, and doing is all secondary. Being is Primary.

You do not need to stop doing, getting and having. You just need to take a different perspective while you are doing, getting and having. Take the perspective that you are happy first and then do what you do. Know that you already have everything and then get what you want, and have the experience you prefer. Take this perspective because you know that happiness and wealth come from a state of being and not from doing and having things. Change the way you are looking at it and it will change your world.

Once you start living your life from the perspective that you already have everything you need by just choosing to be it, your motivation for getting and having will be entirely different. You will not do things or get things to cover up the fear that you are alone, poor, afraid and insecure. You are already happy and fulfilled, so you do what you do and get what you get for fun, pleasure and your enjoyment. You do what you enjoy doing and you do it out of the sheer joy of doing it.

It is a fun game you are playing and it does not matter if it was all gone tomorrow. If you woke up and everything had changed, you would just get excited and jump into the new adventure and say, “how could it get any better than this,” and “what else is possible.” The key point to remember is that it is not about the physical things you can get, or who you are with or what you do; it is about who you are, it is about your state of being, it is about the perspective you take. You create it all just by believing it is so.

Posting photo albums from my past on Facebook has been a healing process for me. I put up pictures of my parents and grand parents lives, me growing up, raising my kids, the friends and women I’ve loved, my career, the businesses I’ve owned, and all I could think of. I’ve been “re-membering” myself and taking back parts of me I’ve rejected or been ashamed of. Fully exposing me and accepting where I’ve come from, discharges the energetic blocks so I can move into my future. We are moving into a time where there is freedom and joy in transparency and bondage and more pain in hiding out. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this time of transition and be able to express myself. I highly recommend it to anyone that is struggling and wants to speed up the movement to their desired future.

When my daughter was born she weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces. We brought her home from the hospital at one day old and her mother was in bed for a couple of days recovering which put me in charge. I remember on that first day bathing her, getting her diaper on and wrapping her tightly in her blanket. I held her in one hand, looked into her sweet little eyes and told her that I would always be there for her and take care of her just the way I was taking care of her at that moment. She some how responded by sending me the feeling that she understood and trusted me completely and melted into my hand with love. Any uneasiness was gone and she lived her whole life with the belief that no matter what happened, she would always be taken care of. It was a defining moment and set her on a path that has never changed.

Life is what we perceive it to be. We see what we focus on. What we focus on is what we value. What we value creates our experience. Our life is what we value. So, what is it that we value? Where do our values come from? Have we ever stopped and examined what we value?

When we are born into this life we begin to develop values and rules for living. We are born with personality tendencies that cause us to embrace certain values in particular areas. The values and rules of our parents, our culture and society tend to be adopted as our own. Most of the values and rules that are engrained in us are without us consciously choosing them and are stored in our subconscious mind with out us even knowing what they are. We are living our lives by a program that we didn’t necessarily choose and that we don’t know exists.
